• Usage Data: We collect information on how the App is accessed and used, including which tools you use and how frequently.
• Study Content: Text you enter into the app (homework problems, notes, questions) is sent to our secure backend server to generate AI responses. This content is not stored permanently on our servers.
• Device Data: Basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and ad serving purposes.
• Purchase Data: If you subscribe to StudyAI Pro, your purchase is processed by Google Play. We do not store your payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the App and its AI-powered features
• To process your Pro subscription through Google Play Billing
• To serve advertisements to free users via Google AdMob
• To monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the App

3. Advertising

Our free tier uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and other data to serve personalized ads. This only applies to free users — Pro subscribers see no advertisements.

4. AI Content Processing

Text you submit to our AI tools (Homework Solver, Flashcards Generator, Practice Test, Doubt Solver) is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI via our secure backend. This content is used solely to generate your requested response and is not stored or used for training purposes.

5. Data Storage

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Your study streak and statistics
• Your daily usage counts
• Saved flashcards (Pro users only)
• Your theme preference (light/dark)

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear App data.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can delete such information.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. All communication between the App and our backend server uses HTTPS encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Third Party Services

Our App uses the following third party services:

• Google AdMob — advertising (free users only)
• Google Play Billing — subscription processing
• Anthropic Claude AI — AI content generation
• Vercel — backend hosting

9. Your Rights
